Category. Jing-well 井穴

The first point of the Small Intestine meridian and its well point. In the classical scheme well points sit at the tips of the fingers and toes, where the meridian Qi is said to emerge at the surface. The name means "lesser marsh".

Jing-well 井穴

Classical record · not a treatment recommendation. Needling technique is a licensed practitioner's skill and is out of scope here.
Well points are traditionally pricked for a drop of blood rather than needled deeply; the point lies beside the nail bed and is extremely superficial. Any needling here is a practitioner judgement.
