Diwuhui dì wǔ huì · 地五会

Location. On the dorsum of the foot, proximal to the fourth metatarsophalangeal joint, between the fourth and fifth metatarsals, on the medial side of the tendon of the extensor digiti minimi.

The name is explained in the classical commentaries as a meeting of the five on the ground, referring to the point's position among the metatarsal bones. The record is one of locality and naming, not of a measured effect.

Classical record · not a treatment recommendation. Needling technique is a licensed practitioner's skill and is out of scope here.
On the dorsum of the foot where the skin is thin and the extensor tendons and dorsal vessels run close beneath. Classical texts describe shallow needling and note that this area is sensitive. Practitioner skill, not a self-care technique.
