Daimai dài mài · 带脉

Location. On the lateral abdomen, 1.8 cun below LR13, at the intersection of a vertical line dropped from the free end of the eleventh rib and the horizontal line at the level of the umbilicus.

Category. Crossing point with the Belt Vessel 交会穴（带脉）

The Belt Vessel takes its name from this point, and classical texts describe the vessel as the only one that runs horizontally, girdling the waist. The point is where the Gallbladder line meets it; the record is of location and of the vessel's course, not of a therapeutic result.
