Jimen jī mén · 箕门

Location. On the medial aspect of the thigh, on the line connecting SP12 (Chongmen) with the medial end of the base of the patella, at the junction of the upper one-third and lower two-thirds of this line, where the pulsation of the femoral artery can be felt.

The name means "winnowing-basket gate" — classical naming compares the posture of sitting with the knees spread apart, like a winnowing basket, which is how this point on the inner thigh is located. This is a naming convention, not a claim about effect.
